Clay, plain or concrete: the right tile, laid properly.
Tiled roofs across west and south-west London run from red clay plain tiles on Edwardian semis to grey interlocking concrete tiles on later houses. Each fails in its own way: plain tiles slip when their nibs or nails go, concrete tiles crack and lose their bedding at the ridge and verge.
We repair individual tiles where the slope is sound and relay or replace the roof when the battens and felt underneath have had it. The photos on this site are our own: red clay hips around rooflights and chimneys, grey interlocking re-roofs, new ridges and hips finished from the scaffold.

Do you repair clay tile roofs?
Yes. We replace slipped and broken clay tiles and match them to the existing roof.
Can you fix loose ridge tiles?
Yes. We re-bed or dry fix ridge and hip tiles so they stay put in high winds.
Should I relay or replace my tiled roof?
If the tiles are sound but the battens and felt have failed, relaying can work. Your free survey tells you which, in writing.
